For people who are signing up to do paid surveys for the first time, one of the things that might worry them is the amount of information that is being requested upon signing up. "Why are they asking my income?" "Why do they want to know my exact address?" "Should they be asking how many cars I have and how many types of electronics I own?" It's perfectly understandable to worry about that; after all, you can't be too safe these days, and people may be using the information you divulge to rob you in the future or something similar.
You don't need to worry, though. Legitimate paid survey websites really need to ask this information in order to get a clearer picture of your habits as a consumer and be able to match you up with surveys that are suited to your profile. Of course, you can only feel truly comfortable if the survey site is reputable and known to be legitimate, so make sure to do your homework as well.
